1. About Win Energy
Win Energy Ltd (Co. No. 08118999) is an independent business utility broker registered in England and Wales. We are members of the Energy Ombudsman ADR scheme (reference C35WINE01) and registered with the ICO (reference ZB482044).
2. Our Broker Service
Free service: Our comparison service is free to you. We receive a commission from your chosen supplier, built as a small uplift into your unit rate — agreed with you before any contract is signed. You are never invoiced by Win Energy.
No obligation: You are under no obligation to accept any quote or proceed with a switch. The decision is entirely yours.
Commission disclosure: Our commission is built into the unit rate of your chosen contract. Full details are available on request.
If a deal does not go live: If your contract does not proceed, Win Energy earns nothing and you owe us nothing.
3. Our Role and Limitations
Win Energy provides information and comparison services. We are not financial or legal advisers. Rates quoted are valid at time of quotation and may change before contract execution. Win Energy is not liable for price changes between quotation and signing, or for supplier insolvency after a contract has been placed.
4. Your Responsibilities
By using our services you confirm: you are 18+ and authorised to enter contracts for your business; information provided is accurate; you will review contract terms before signing; you will honour any contract entered into with a supplier.
5. Business Energy Contracts — Key Points
No cooling-off period: Business energy contracts have no statutory cooling-off period. They are binding once signed.
Early termination: Exit fees are payable to the supplier — not to Win Energy.
Out-of-contract rates: If your contract expires without renewal, your supplier may place you on a significantly higher default rate. You remain responsible for monitoring your contract end dates.
Switching timescales: Most switches typically complete within 28 days. Win Energy is not responsible for delays caused by suppliers or third parties.
